I fall in love in Kenting
Thanks Jesus! It was nice to be here just me. Last month, I left for Kenting, the south of Taiwan. I stayed there three days, let me tell you about the town. It’s very unique because it mixed both natural and artificial (人工的)culture. You can see many historic relic (古蹟)and beautiful view. However, there are also a large number of restaurants, water activities, fancy and cheap hotels. There is so much to see and do. It’s easy to understand why Kenting is full of energy town.
On my first day in Kenting, I went to the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium (屏東海生館).It’s a variety of fishes in here. Then I left for Fuan palace (福安宮). This is the whole biggest common temple of land of Taiwan. It has already had a history of more than 200 years so far. After trip all day, I was tired. So I returned to my hotel to take a shower. In evening, I was hungry. So I walked around the Kenting Street (墾丁大街) and found a restaurant. There were many kinds of restaurant－for example, Mexican food, Thai food, Taiwanese food, Italy pizza vendors (小攤販) and so on. Absolutely it can satisfy your desire about delicious foods.
Water activities play an important role in Kenting. There is no body that fights against the charming of it in here. You may have listened that your friends talk about water activities in Kenting. But in my opinion, you should be attempted by yourself. That is true experience. As for me, I tried to snorkel (浮潛), banana ship (香蕉船) and speedboat (快艇) in Behind lake (後壁湖). That is very exciting water activities in Kenting. Then I went to Boat rock (船帆石), Shade (砂島), Eluanbi light (鵝鑾鼻燈塔), Longpan Park(龍磐公園), Fongchueisha (風吹沙). Last station, I arrived in Jialeshuei (佳樂水).It is formed by sandstone and coral reef, under experiencing all sorts of the erosion of high wind and wave, chisel and carve out the strange rock and spectacular rocky peak of all kinds. In the word, no one can regret to come here.
On my last day, I visited four very intact city gates in Hengchuen (恆春鎮). It is said that the whole Taiwan Province is the most intact, because build in Guang Xu (光緒)Year of Qing Dynasty, is classified as second historical site (古蹟). From Hengchuen to Kenting can pass the south gate. Chuhuo (出火) and Manjou (滿洲)must be passed by east gate. The east door can also go up ! After that, I visited the A-Gar’s house(阿嘉的家). Inside, I took pictures of the famous scene and pester. It was definitely worth visit and the perfect way to end my trip.
